180112 “A flood of charity from fans for EXO D.O.’s birthday”
National and international fans of EXO’s D.O. (Do Kyungsoo) celebrated his 26th birthday on the 12th by helping their neighbors.
Dohdream and Sarangdoongie, support communities dedicated to D.O./Do Kyungsoo, funded a well in the water-short nation of Haiti under his name. They also gave 1,120 briquettes to Briquettes for Love and 112 to Briquette Bank, along with 2 million won to the Nexon Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital. Fanclub For D.O. delivered 1.2 million won to Snail of Love, which provides hard-of-hearing children with care and rehabilitation.
Under his name, Vietnamese fans also sent much-needed blankets and daily necessities to children living in poverty in cold mountainous regions. Japanese fans donated 1 million won to Seoul’s National School for the Blind.
